St. Johns Ecumenical Ministries Food Pantry is a ministry made up of volunteers from 13 churches in the St. Johns County area.  In existence since 1992, our mission is to provide emergency food assistance to residents of St. Johns County and increase awareness of hunger issues in the county as well.

The ministry is a self-governed organization by the pantry volunteers and a Board of Directors that is also made up of volunteers.  There are no paid officers or employees.

The pantry is open from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, 5 days per week with the exception of some holidays.  Working with USAD, Farm Share and Feeding Northeast Florida, as well as donations both monetary and non-perishable food, the Pantry has in the past four years (2014-2017) on average, distributed annually, 5266 bags of groceries to 3602 families.

The St. Anastasia Food Drives, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus,  held throughout the year are an important part of keeping our pantry shelves stocked.  Currently, there are 17 volunteers representing St. Anastasia Catholic Church in this ministry.
