Funerals
Funerals are held Monday through Friday at 9:00 am in the Church, with exceptions made during Holy Weeks. Families that wish to have a funeral at St. Anastasia must meet with the Consolation & Guidance Ministry who will assist with funeral arrangements, plan the music, the readings, and service. All military salutes occur outside of the church. Please contact Theresa Greenwood at 904-471-5364 X114 for information on making funeral arrangements.
Columbarium
A Columbarium is a place where the cremains (ashes) of our deceased parishioners are laid to rest.
We draw comfort knowing that the ashes of a loved one will rest in a Columbaria on sacred ground, near the altar where Mass is celebrated every day. The St. Augustine and St. Monica Columbaria, connecting the North and South ends of the church and Our Lady’s Chapel, are appointed with large benches for seating and reflection. The Northern & Southern Cloisters are all reserved, however the Columbaria that flank either side of the entrance to the church are available. St. Anastasia’s newest Columbaria, St. Anne and St. Hilda, are available for inurnment of any baptized Catholic, their spouse, dependents and relatives. These Columbaria, located on either side of the main entrance to the church, offer the gift of visiting a loved one before or after Mass in a place of peace, with a reflective atmosphere for quiet contemplation and prayer. Inurned in this sacred place, our departed relatives and friends will always be with the family that worships at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

Due to the ocean breezes blowing through the area, neither temporary nor permanent displays of flowers or other memorabilia are allowed in the Columbarium.
